A cruise to Alaska is not only a fun way for families to spend time together but it is also a safe environment for all.  Parents need not worry about their little ones on deck, as most Alaskan cruise ships offer a number of comfortable and safe places to relax as a family.  Little ones will be amazed at the great sights they see in Alaska and parents will enjoy the trip too.

Some cruise ships such as the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line have some of the most kid friendly ships around.  For older children there are a number of fun activities for them to take part in such as ice skating and rock climbing.  If you are worried about your toddlers don’t worry, the ship also has a fully staffed nursery on deck where you can leave your babies and toddlers and not have to worry if they are safe or not.  Older toddlers on the cruise can even enjoy the Fisher Price playgroups that take place on the ship.  Alaskan cruises definitely have a little bit to offer everyone in the family.

Another cruise ship that is good for families with young toddlers would be the Carnival Cruise Line.  Carnival Cruise Line have all kinds of activities for children and a program called Camp Carnival that kids from the ages of 2-17 can participate in.  Activities include finger painting, story time, arts and crafts, dance parties, etc.  All activities at Camp Carnival are staffed with professionals who have training childcare and development so parents should not worry about the care that their kids are receiving.  Children will be safe and cared for properly and will have a blast partaking in all of the fun activities that Carnival Cruise Line’s ship has to offer.

There are plenty of other cruise lines besides the ones mentioned above that offer nurseries for your toddlers to stay at, or activities for your children to participate in.  If you are thinking about taking your family on an Alaskan cruise don’t let that nagging mom voice in your head stop you!  Rest assured that you and your young toddlers will be in good hands and that everyone will have a fun time.

Another great perk to taking your children on the cruise with you is that there is no hassle of cooking, cleaning, or waiting in lines, everything is included in the price you pay for your cruise and the ship’s crew will take care of everything.  Sit down and dine as a family or take them on a trip with you to look at glaciers.  No matter what you and your family decide to do, you are sure to have a great time in a safe and comfortable environment.
