When planning an Alaskan cruise, there are many different things which must be taken into consideration, including the weather/temperature. It typically rains a lot in October, so make sure that you also pack a raincoat and umbrella. You will want to protect yourself from the elements on deck, which means dressing appropriately and bringing everything you will need to stay warm and dry. It also starts to snow in October, so it’s important to be prepared for that as well with a jacket and some gloves. You may not need to bring a hugely thick parka, but a jacket or coat with layers would probably be a good decision.
